Pre-K through Kindergarten

Our early learners program lets young children be children - free to explore, play and imagine. Designed to lead students from wonder to discovery, our program helps them associate learning with pleasure and fulfillment. Focus is on the process rather than the product. Hands-on projects introduce activities and materials to help children acquire sensory, motor, perceptual and language skills. The curriculum, within an age-appropriate framework, is adaptable to children's varying needs and interests.

St. Pius X offers programs for three-year-olds and four-to-five-year-olds. For both programs:

  • Children must meet the age requirement (three years of age by September 1 for the three-year-old program, four by December 31 for the four-to-five-year-old program) and be fully toilet trained.
  • Programs run Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily. Children can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m., and after-school care is available until 6:00 p.m. each day.
  • Hot lunch is available for purchase daily.
  • Children receive healthy snacks daily, and are provided quiet time.
