St. Pius X students may participate in the following extracurricular athletics:

We offer CYO basketball for boys and girls in grades five through eight as well as a coed intramural league for grades four through six. Click here to connect to your team schedules, practice dates, important news and updates (snow cancellations across the top of the page in red, bulletin-like form when needed) plus parent handouts.

Kindergarten through eighth-grade soccer is run on an instructional basis and includes intramural soccer games for grades two through eight.  Our Middle School Modified Soccer teams compete against regional public and non-public schools.

Track and Cross Country
Students participate in meets within the Friendship League encompassing teams throughout the Capital Region.

Flag Football
Students in grades 3 and 4 can play intramural flag football each spring and fall.

Our physical education classes and athletic programs emphasize good sportsmanship in all grades, promoting healthy competition -- rather than just winning -- as a priority.

Students in grades 5 -8 are offered this sport as a co-ed program. Practices are held one night a week for 1.5 hours starting in November. Volleyball games are scheduled in Feburary and March against other schools in the friendship league.
